The guitar is one of the most complex yet rewarding of all instruments. It is an instrument that you can truly put your personality into. Whether you choose to pursue Acoustic, Classical, Electric or Bass guitar, you'll be glad you gave it a shot. People of all ages and abilities can get a huge amount of fulfilment from it, whether you're just strumming a few chords, or transcribing one of the Brandenburg concertos! 

My name is Paul Andrews. I am a professional guitarist and teacher with years of experience in both schools and private environments. Being a working musician, I also bring a comprehensive knowledge of what is needed in order to succeed in this most volatile of industries. I have played Guitar and Bass guitar in  several top function bands and do so to this day. I currently front the Pink Floyd Experience (www.ukpfe.com) on vocals and guitar, and I have done much session and studio work. 

I can teach whatever you would like to learn, whether it is just strumming along to your favourite songs at the end of a stressful day, or working towards a grade exam, or just generally improving your ability. My focus is on results. I look at each person individually and tailor the style of tuition to the individual, and although there is a lot of emphasis on practical and physical development – not to mention having fun, I believe that to be successful, you will need a good working knowledge of theory too. Lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes long and you drive the lesson in the direction that you want. 

My fees are very competitive.
